Ways to protect against Electromagnetic Frequencies (EMF)

As we have discussed at length in our previous blog posts on electromagnetic frequencies and 5G technology, EMFs are a significant health concern. While these damaging frequencies are ubiquitous, there are many strategies to avoid them and safeguard your health. This blog post will discuss strategies and products for protecting yourself and your loved ones.

Key Points to Consider

When making decisions through the lens of reducing EMF exposure it is important to reduce the use of EMF emitting devices, increase the distance between you and an EMF-producing source, and to favor grounded and hardwired connections over wireless.

Reduce Use

The less you use EMF emitting technology, the less your body will be exposed. This may seem simple, but scrutinizing exposures and reducing them takes effort. The greatest and least invasive thing you can do to reduce EMF exposure is to turn your WiFi off at night while you sleep.

  • Consider a WiFi switch on your WiFi router to turn it off while you sleep.

  • Take your AppleWatch, Fitbit, or other wearables off. Better yet, do not use them at all!

  • Ditch your microwave oven.

  • Keep your phone on airplane mode when you are not using it.

  • Do not use bluetooth in your car-turn it off to avoid EMFs.

  • Try to avoid smart appliances, home devices, thermostats and 5G enabled cell phones.

Increase the Distance

Whether it is your smart phone, smart meter, or high-voltage power lines, the more distance between you and the exposure will be helpful because EMFs dissipate the further away you are.

  • Use the speaker function on your phone and hold it further away from your body

  • Do not carry your phone on your body, especially not in your pocket or bra strap!

  • Use an anti-radiation headset

  • Consider placing EMF protection equipment to protect your home environment.

  • If you cannot turn off your WiFi at night or are still exposed to your neighbor’s WiFi, a faraday canopy can be helpful for protecting the sleep environment.

  • Use Copperflect to shield EMF and RF from entering your environment. This can be especially helpful in bedrooms.

  • If you are unsure how much EMFs are in your home, work, or education environment, consider purchasing an EMF meter to gain an understanding of your exposure!

Favor Hardwired Connections

While it may feel like you’re going back in time, the reality is that hardwired connections for internet, phone lines, various cables, baby monitors, etc; will reduce the EMFs within the home.

  • Some product recommendations for hard-wired connections:

  • Use a hardwired mouse and keyboard

  • Hardwired baby monitors and surveillance cameras

  • Use an ethernet cable to stream television

  • Hardwired telephones and landlines

  • Use ethernet cable for computers
